Solidarisch ohne Kontrollen – Livemusik auf dem Kesselbrink

Die Tage werden länger und so langsam zeigt sich der Frühling! Das heißt für alle raus auf die Straßen und Sonne genießen!
Wir als Kampagne „Solidarisch ohne Kontrollen“ wollen den Kesselbrink mit guter Musik und leckerem Essen beleben, und den Abend des 15. März mit euch gemeinsam verbringen.

In Bielefeld ist seit letztem Herbst eine Sonderkommission der Polizei in der Innenstadt unterwegs. Sie führt Kontrollen durch mit der Erklärung, für Sicherheit sorgen zu wollen. Wir sehen darin kein Schaffen von Sicherheit, sondern die Verdrängung von Personen und Tendenzen der Gentrifizierung. Wir wollen auf dem Kesselbrink chillen, ohne ständige Kontrollen! Wir stehen für eine solidarische Nachbarschaft ohne Platzverweise und Racial Profiling! Es gibt andere Lösungen für soziale Probleme, als Leute einzusperren und zu vertreiben!

Auf der Bühne erwarten euch Künstler*innen wie Shelly Quest, Moh Kanim, Laíz und Carmel Zoum. Außerdem gibt es eine Ausstellung und es wird leckeres Essen und Getränke geben, die ihr gegen Spende, aber auch for free erhalten könnt. Für alle die Fasten, wird es auch ein gemeinsames Iftar geben.

Wir wählen nicht zufällig den 15. März für unsere Veranstaltung, denn dies ist der Internationale Tag gegen Polizeigewalt.

Dieses Jahr jährte sich zum 20. Mal der gewaltsame Tod von Oury Jalloh in Dessau. Es sind 5 Jahre vergangen seit dem rassistischen Terror in Hanau, bei dem
Mercedes Kierpacz, Gökhan Gültekin, Sedat Gürbüz, Said Nesar Hashemi, Hamza Kurtović, Vili Viorel Păun, Fatih Saraçoğlu, Kaloyan Velkov und Ferhat Unvar ermordet wurden. Auch die Ermordung George Floyds, die zu großen Black Lives Matter Demos weltweit geführt hat, jährt sich zum 5. Mal. All das und so viele Fälle mehr, sind für uns Grund am 15. März präsent und laut zu sein.
Kommt vorbei und bringt Friends und Family mit! Los geht es ab 17h bis 20h.

The days are getting longer and warmer. That means it’s time to head out onto the streets and enjoy the sun! We, as the campaign „Solidarisch ohne Kontrollen“ (Solidary without Controls), want to liven up Kesselbrink with great music and delicious food.

Since fall 2024, a special police task force has been patrolling downtown Bielefeld. They conduct checks with the explanation of wanting to ensure safety. We don’t see this as creating safety, but rather as the pure displacement of people. We want to chill on Kesselbrink without constant checks! We stand for a solidary neighborhood without exclusion orders and racial profiling! There are other solutions to social problems than locking people up and driving them away!
On stage, you can expect artists such as Shelly Quest, Moh Kanim, Laíz, and Carmel Zoum. There will also be an exhibition, delicious food, a communal Iftar, and drinks (by donation/for free).

We didn’t choose March 15th by chance for our event, as it is the International Day Against Police Brutality. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the violent death of Oury Jalloh in Dessau. It has been 5 years since the racist terror in Hanau, where Mercedes Kierpacz, Gökhan Gültekin, Sedat Gürbüz, Said Nesar Hashemi, Hamza Kurtović, Vili Viorel Păun, Fatih Saraçoğlu, Kaloyan Velkov, and Ferhat Unvar were murdered. The murder of George Floyd, which led to large Black Lives Matter demonstrations worldwide, also marks its 5th anniversary. All of this, and so many more cases, are reasons for us to be present and loud on March 15th.

Les jours deviennent plus longs et plus chauds. Alors c’est temps de sortir dans les rues et de profiter du soleil ! Nous, en tant que campagne „Solidarisch ohne Kontrollen“ (Solidaires sans contrôles), voulons animer le Kesselbrink avec de la bonne musique et de la nourriture délicieuse.

Depuis l’automne 2024, une commission spéciale de la police patrouille dans le centre-ville de Bielefeld. Elle effectue des contrôles avec l’explication de vouloir assurer la sécurité. Nous ne voyons pas cela comme une création de sécurité, mais plutôt comme un simple déplacement des personnes. Nous voulons nous détendre sur le Kesselbrink sans contrôles constants ! Nous soutenons un voisinage solidaire sans interdictions de territoire ni profilage racial ! Il existe d’autres solutions aux problèmes sociaux que d’enfermer et expulser les gens !

Sur scène, vous pourrez voir des artistes comme Shelly Quest, Moh Kanim, Laíz et Carmel Zoum. Il y aura aussi une exposition, de la nourriture délicieuse, un Iftar commun et des boissons (contre don/gratuit).

Nous n’avons pas choisi le 15 mars par hasard pour notre événement, car c’est la Journée internationale contre la violence policière. Cette année marque le 20. anniversaire de la mort violente d’Oury Jalloh à Dessau. Cela fait 5 ans depuis le terrorisme raciste à Hanau, où Mercedes Kierpacz, Gökhan Gültekin, Sedat Gürbüz, Said Nesar Hashemi, Hamza Kurtović, Vili Viorel Păun, Fatih Saraçoğlu, Kaloyan Velkov et Ferhat Unvar ont été tués. Le meurtre de George Floyd, qui a conduit à de grandes manifestations Black Lives Matter dans le monde entier, marque également son 5. anniversaire. Tout ca, et bien d’autres cas encore, sont pour nous des raisons d’être présents et de nous faire entendre le 15 mars.
